Got cardstock?

Have you ever submitted your name/e-mail to an online contest? Did you ever think that those contests were a scam or wonder if anyone ever won those contests? Well, real people do win those contests and I'm here to tell you about it. Core'dinations had a contest where you had to watch a video showing various techniques on how to alter their cardstock. I thought the video was well done, entered my name/e-mail, and promptly forgot all about the contest. Imagine my surprise weeks later to get an e-mail from Core'dinations. Still, I didn't want to believe anything until I had the goodies in hand.

Although I mentioned my big win to Mr. Fix-it, he obviously forgot about it because I got a phone call from him at work, "What the heck did you order? It weighs a ton!" There was a squeal of delight from me, followed by an embarrassed cough since I was, after all, in the non-soundproof/non-private cubicle at work. Who wouldn't be excited to win 500+ sheets of cardstock? But what the heck am I going to do with all that cardstock? After all, I probably have that many sheets of cardstock and patterned paper already (another embarrassed cough here). How about sharing the wealth? How about some of this? (this is a 20 sheet pack)Or this? (this is an 80 sheet pack)All you have to do leave a comment by January 7th. I'll pick two winners sometime over that weekend. How's that for a nice start to the new year?

The fine print: The cardstock will be shipped to US addresses only. I priced shipping these overseas and the cost was painful. But if you're overseas and leave a comment and I draw your lucky number, I'll send you some other scrappy goodness.

Hey Arlyn! Congrats on your win! That is awesome!!
I am a cardstock whore myself. And while I have procrastinated in counting it all up for year end inventory for my taxes, I am betting I have at least 500 pieces as well.. but you know me... can never have too much!

Arlyn, where have I been? I didn't even know you had a blog =0! Congrats on the win. I managed to hide quite a few purchases behind actual "wins" at CKU or entries to online contests. Not that I am suggesting that you intentionally mislead your husband, but when he says, "wow! did you win something else?" You can respond with a noncommittal "Ummm!" because he isn't really listening anymore anyway. At least....it works for me.

I'd hate to count up how much "stuff" I have, but I do know that what has inhabited the dining area for several years ain't never gonna fit in an already-filled "workroom" used by 3 people. Have to figure out something-- something that does NOT involve merely buying more storage (although I have four of those stacking Iris carts and was eyeing them at the big Joann's Etc. recently.)

Wow Arlyn - that's a great win! I actually "think" I have a box of Crate Paper goodies on the way but like you, I'm not going to say anything about it on my blog until it shows up at my door!

Woohoo! Congrats - you struck the jackpot! Their cardstock is amazing and fun. Looks like you might need to start watching videos on how to organize cardstock and patterned paper, though... =) Gotta smoosh it all in there, you know? ;)

Hey Arlyn!! Congrats on your great win!! ANY time a prize is won is awesome but the size of your win WOW!!!

I was looking around at your page and saw the FEEDJIT Live Traffic Feed column on the right of the page is this anyone at all looking at your blog? Cause I saw someone from Murray, KY had looked at it and was wondering if it is your friends that show up then wow they are just 15 minutes from me here in Benton. Sorry this place is so small I tend to get too excited when I see someone or a city from right here pop up anywhere. LOL

Cool! I don't need to enter the contest, but what is the link to the video? Or am I just missing it?

Wow, that is some load of cardstock. I would be happy to win a bit as it seems I still never have the right shade of orange or blue or pink or ... ;)

Hope you have fun at your crop this weekend!

Thanks for commenting everyone. Winners will be listed in a new post later today.

@Laura, FEEDJIT lists everyone (unless they hide themselves) who comes to my blog. I don't know anyone else in Kentucky except you.

@Yvette, there is a link in the first paragraph. Click the word "techniques" in the third sentence.
